Official does not mean infallible
Vendor pages can conflict, change without notice, or use ambiguous date precision. Official provenance is necessary, but confidence also reflects product identity, date semantics, corroboration, freshness, and contradictions.
Low-confidence records stay unpublished
Unconfirmed, contradicted, or structurally invalid claims enter automatic re-verification. They never appear as authoritative public dates merely to expand catalog coverage.
Corrections remain visible
A material correction creates a new event with the prior value, corrected value, evidence, explanation, and publication time. Public history is append-only.
Make it operational
